What is CollaborativeCare?

CollaborativeCare is a platform utilized by independent dental professionals, dental practices, and partner services to eliminate the friction in offering specialty services in-house.

How does collaborative treatment planning work?

Utilizing a networking architecture the workflows, services, and people needed to properly plan and execute a case are easily accessible and actionable directly in the CTx (collaborative treatment plan). Whatever is needed to streamline the case is available to the GP and they control the whole case without any gaps in scheduling, planning or execution of the case.

How does the real-time sharing feature work?

CollaborativeCare is a cloud based platform. This makes any additions or changes to the case available in real-time to anyone that is collaborating on the case. No need to print, call or reenter information since everyone has access from any computer browser or the CollaborativeCare mobile app.

It also makes it possible for the Specialist to see the CTx before coming into the office without additional work. Ensuring everything is in order for their scheduled day.

How do my patients benefit from CollaborativeCare?

Patients want easier access to their records. Providing patients access to their oral health information is an opportunity to treat them as a collaborator in their care. This builds trust with the patient and simplifies the patient, dentist relationship. When utilizing CollaborativeCare to keep patients in-house for treatment you can increase case acceptance since there should be less waiting and gaps in the systems that coordinate the case between the patient, practice and Specialist. Everyone benefits from this but patients have the added benefit of mobile access to their treatment plan, educational video personalized for their procedure, financing options, and two way chat so that any questions or concerns can be addressed or directed by the treatment coordinator.

Is the site secure?

The platform is HIPAA compliant and all of the patient data and communications are encrypted.

Is it hard to create a booking?

It only takes seconds to create a CTx and select a day convenient for your patient. You’ll always have virtual support available to help create the booking or help with any questions you or your team may have. Once the bookings are created we handle all the coordination from there.

Who are the traveling Specialists on the platform?

The current network of Specialists include board certified Oral Surgeons, Periodontists, and other Specialties. We have thousands of hours of availability and each dentist that is available to be booked has gone through our vetting process. Members will be able to view the Specialists credentials and endorsements before creating a booking.

Will I need to buy any new equipment?

Our traveling Specialists will bring everything needed to perform the procedures they are booked for. Keep in mind that before the booking request is accepted you and the Specialist will be able to communicate around any details related to the patient or procedure.

How does the Specialist get paid?

We currently operate on a shared percentage program. We collect payment from the patient and distribute the contracted payouts to all parties. You will have access to these records in your system.

Is CollaborativeCare a replacement for my practice management system?

CollaborativeCare is not a practice management system. The platform is designed to eliminate the friction around collaborating with traveling Specialists and patient participation. The workflows and systems in place are designed to provide the dental practice with reputational information and collaborative treatment workflows along with credentialing, billing and communications to increase case acceptance by eliminating the gaps in the patient referral process and help to keep patients in-house for treatment.

Can I use the platform with Specialists I already have relationships with?

Every CollaborativeCare member has the ability to invite other dental professionals to collaborate with. The platform is much like a LinkedIn for dental professionals with a treatment planning interface. Taking the benefits of a network and leveraging them to help dental professionals be more productive and dental practices save time and improve profitability.

How much does it cost to use?

There are no upfront costs or fees. The platform keeps a fee from the transactions to pay for operating the platform.

What types of specialty services are offered?

We currently operate in NY and NJ and offer a full range of services including aligners, implants, and surgery.

Does CollaborativeCare market my practice?

Every member gets a profile page that can be an effective vehicle in engaging new patients. Practice owners also get a page that is optimized for new patient acquisition. We also have more advanced marketing strategies available for practices.
